2 yr. pics of Aleecya.

So, yesterday and half of today, (Sunday and Monday), I had Aleecya over. Yesterday, we went to church, came home, watched princess movies, and played all day. Today, Aleecya wanted to wear her dress. So I said "OK!". I continued to do her hair all pretty and then decided to take my mom's camera and to go outside and do a little mini "photoshoot". Her mom has been meaning to get her 2 yr. pics taken. So I figured, why not?! I can do it myself. So, here are some of the pics. Enjoy!!

Praying for Stellan

Prayers for Stellan
Hi all. If you're one of the VERY few who have not heard about Baby Stellan in the blogosphere, he is a sweet baby who has been battling severe heart issues since before he was born. He is now 8 months old and is fighting hard just to stay alive. The doctors are fighting hard to keep him that way. Please be in prayer for Stellan. If you twitter, you'll even see him on the top trends! You can read more of Stellan's story on his blog. Just click on his button there. Please, he needs all the help he can get.
Update: Stellan, his mom and his dad are making plans to fly back out to Boston so Stella can get another ablation. If his AV Node gets destroyed, then he will get a pace maker and will depend on that for the rest of his life. To learn/read more, again, just click on his button.

Adorable Bella.

They made all babies wear these. Even the bald ones.

I know, I know. I've been lacking on blog postings. Sorry. But in my defense, I've been gone to Utah since July 8th. It's been awesome! I went to go see my cousin Alma, his wife Matti, and their two kids, Bella (3 yrs) and Oliver (7 months). We went to the Gateway and went in the water fountains, we went to temple square, we went to the Sweet's Candy Factory, we went to the zoo, and we went to the newest Temple Open House. Let's not forget to mention watching the kids and playing outside. A great time was had by all. I ended up taking about 1,012 pictures, but I'll just post a few here. =]
P.S. more pictures to come.

4th of July woes....

Well, it's 12:06 in the morning. It also happens to be the 4th of July. Now, I'm not usually up this late. This is kind of a rarety for me.....I go to sleep early, and wake up late. Yup, I'm one of those people.

Anyways, I'm sitting here, watching lame old episodes of old shows. I WOULD go to bed, but of course, there are ALWAYS fireworks that must be going off until 2 in the morning. And the fact that my window happens to face the road side and where all the fireworks are going off is NOT helping.

What's really the point of going to lay down if you're just going to lay there and listen to the fireworks? Oh, and of course the "must-have" two firetrucks, (update: make that 3 firetrucks), (another update 4 seconds later: make that 4 firetrucks) that go zooming down the road because some idiots don't know how to properly use fireworks.
And yes, that road it goes zooming down blaring the horns just happens to be the road by my window.

So, again, why even bother to go to bed?? I still might try to risk going to bed. Thank heavens for iPods and iHomes. Church is still tomorrow morning, and I still need to get up and go. And actually stay awake.

So, wish me luck!! Here I go. I need to do all my mouthwash stuff as well. And that's not too bad.

I'll see you all later!! Happy 4th of July everyone!!! Hope it was a safe one!! =]

(P.S. now there are dogs out there howling because they're annoyed. Hey, there's ONE thing that we have in common.)

The best part about having a twin? You always have somebody to read/play with!!!

This last week, (starting on Saturday night, ending on Wednesday night), we had our friends 4 little girls over. The mom and dad went to Pennsylvania to Hershey World and we had the opportunity to watch their kids. The oldest was Brooke, age 6; then the twins, Erin and Alix, age 4; and then baby Sammy, age 11 months. It really is a lot of work taking care of them everyday, getting them up, dressed, hair done, and breakfast eaten. On Sunday, it was extra stressful. Luckily, we had church at 11:30 instead of 9:30. In 4 hours, we managed to get 4 little girls bathed, dressed, hair done, and eaten breakfast. And let's not forget to mention that we had to get me, my mom, and my sister dressed and ready as well. We managed to make it out only about 10 minutes late. But we did make it with only about 3 minutes to spare. Anyways, it was still a lot of fun to watch all the kids. Here are some pics....
